Davinci Jeremie’s Message to New Bitcoin Investors Goes Viral Amid $8B BTC Movement

Early bitcoin adopter Davinci Jeremie, who famously purchased BTC at $1, has resurfaced with a timely message for new investors. "Stacking sats in times of disbelief makes you legend later," he declared, as the crypto community dissected the movement of 80,000 Bitcoin ($8B+) from dormant wallets last active in 2011.

The transactions sparked intense speculation about their origin, with Coinbase's Conor Grogan suggesting a possible connection to compromised early holdings. Some observers pointed to potential links with Ripple co-founder Arthur Britto or Bitcoin advocate Roger Ver. The timing coincides with Ripple's banking license application and the approaching conclusion of its SEC case.

Market veterans view the wallet activity as a bullish signal, reinforcing Jeremie's mantra about accumulating during periods of skepticism. The transferred BTC was originally acquired for pennies, now representing one of the most valuable asset movements in cryptocurrency history.

Suspicious $8B Bitcoin Movements Possibly Preceded by Covert Bitcoin Cash Test

Mysterious transfers of $8.5 billion worth of 'Satoshi-era' bitcoin late Friday may have been preceded by a covert test involving Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Coinbase director Conor Grogan flagged a suspicious BCH transaction of over 10,000 tokens—worth nearly $5 million—tied to one of the whale wallets hours before the main BTC movements began.

The timing suggests a deliberate dry run. Grogan theorized the actor may have tested legacy private keys on BCH, a chain less scrutinized by whale-watching services, before executing the historic BTC transfers. Eight dormant wallets from 2011 moved 10,000 BTC each to new SegWit addresses, marking the largest Satoshi-era movement to date.

Curiously, only one associated BCH address was touched. 'Why not sweep the others?' Grogan questioned, implying partial access. The BTC transfers began precisely one hour after the BCH test, fueling speculation about coordinated access to decade-old cold storage.
